The BulletBoys began as a collection of talented musicians from high profile bands such as King Kobra and Ratt. Using their credentials, they were able to quickly capture the attention of music fans around the world while front man Marq Torien emerged as one of the most underrated vocalists of the era.
The BulletBoys formed in 1988 at the very peak of the Los Angeles glam metal movement. With record companies constantly searching for new talent, they possessed a pedigree that most bands would kill for. Unlike the other glam rockers of the day, the BulletBoys were more hard rock and blues fusion than pure hair metal. Thanks to comparisons to the likes of Aerosmith and especially Van Halen, talent scouts came running and the band quickly received their first major label contract. Over the years they dominated both MTV and radio airwaves, and remain relevant to this day in heavy rotation on VH1′s “Metal Mania” and Internet (SiriusXM’s Hair Nation, KNAC.COM, etc.) radio throughout the world!
Stone Senate is a five-piece groove based rock band with a sound as unique as the members themselves. They came together from a variety of musical back grounds including Rock, Country, Blues, R&B, Funk, Jazz, and Metal and have blended them in to the Stone Senate sound. Standing high above any crowd Clint Woolsey commands attention with written lyrics and an unforgettable voice, while Marcus Brown and Mike Thompson share the task of melting faces with a wall of well blended lead and rhythm guitars. All of this played over the rock solid groove based rhythm section of Paul Zettler (bass) and Lucas Caswell (drums).
Brought together by the love of music and the desire to rock! Vawter was born in 2011 in the heart of South Bend, Indiana near the campus of Notre Dame and quickly started writing and performing some of the areas best original rock that has ever come from the region. With a show that consists of 90% original rock, these guys have gained the respect of many local bands and fans in the area for the quality of the songs. The lyrics are meaningful and the music is raw, quality rock. Sharing the same stage with bands like Static X, Davey Suicide, 9 Electric, Prong, Wayland, Illusions Fate to name a few, these guys have developed a powerful stage performance and deliver a high energy rock show.
Gaining the majority of her industry experience writing and touring with other artist as a background vocalist. Chicago’s Alt/Rocker Esh makes a splash taking center stage. With her dynamic, emphatic delivery, Esh moves hearts and hips; with her glam/punk rock sartorial style. One must not forget Esh’s four piece band that packs hard-rocking compositions with powerful guitar-, bass-, and drum-driven punches. Just enough sauce to allow the pint size rocker the freedom to stir up a host of emotions from the affectionate to the aggressive. If Esh’s upcoming EP is any indication of that which is to come from her first album, it will be a big year for her. Shes already one of new artists to watch in 2012.
Ramova plays raunchy-but-tight punk – and while countless other bands make a career of sounding like they’re going to lapse into complete chaos at any moment, the Chicago trio makes it clear that it’s always in control.” -the ONION
