HAVOK the thrash metal powerhouse reigning from Colorado formed in 2004. After two self-released albums, the band caught the attention of England’s Candlelight Records. Burn was released in early spring of 2009. Incorporating blisteringly fast guitar riffs, machine-like drumming, groovy bass lines, searing leads, and hard-hitting vocals, HAVOK is able to maintain that *punch-you-in-the-throat* style of music. Fast forward to 2011 and the Denver-based thrashers return with their second album. The band turns the heat up with new thrash anthems. Time Is Up immediately showcases the band’s highly skilled musicianship.Blistering guitar work once again highlights the album. Song standouts include album opener “Prepare for Attack,” “Fatal Intervention,” “Covering Fire,” and“Scumbag in Disguise.”
Although there are many other thrash bands out there, there is one thing that sets HAVOK apart from the others. This band puts their own stamp on the genre by employing a more technical side of music, while maintaining the feel. HAVOK’s live show is where the band really catches peoples’ attention, with their non-stop energy level and their ability to get the audience involved. They are a must-see for any fan of live music! HAVOK has received tons of positive feedback for their efforts to make thrash a mainstay in modern music: and they will continue to spread the intensity until they decide the job is done! Given their talent, determination, and constantly growing fan base, HAVOK is destined to become a mainstay in this scene!
EXMORTUS are an entity amongst themselves and their music, both complex and thoroughly hook-laden, refuses to lend itself to easy categorization. From the technical death-thrash riffage and surgically precise drumming to their neo-classical, twin virtuoso lead guitar attack, fans of death metal, thrash, prog metal, traditional heavy metal and all true metal sub-genres alike enjoy having
their craniums crushed by the fury of EXMORTUS.
Extinction A.D., comprised of front-man Rick Jimenez and ex-This Is Hell bandmates Pieter van den Berg and Mike Sciulara, as well as Long Island native, Ian Cimaglia, deliver a fresh, energetic thrash attack, showing true love for early greats; old Testament, Slayer and Metallica, while dazzling with 2016 power and precision.
The band formed in 2013 and has been releasing music and touring steadily since, as seen with Unearth, Municipal Waste, Havok, Testament, Exodus, Shadows Fall, From Autumn To Ashes, Toxic Holocaust, Kvelertak, Nuclear Assault, Venom, D.R.I., The Red Chord, Bane, Act Of Defiance, Cro-Mags, Voivod, Vision of Disorder and many more.

Discarnate is a 5-piece death metal band from Illinois. Inspired by the punishing sounds of early 90’s extreme metal and the new wave of modern death metal, the new band has already made a mark in the scene. In a little over a year since the bands inception, they released an EP critiqued by Lars Bremnes Ese of Metal Hammer Norway as “evocative and massive.” “The Derangement” was released in May 2016 to an already eager base of fans.
Featuring guitarists Luke Nissen and Ivan Cordova, bassist Alletta Ergun, and drummer Dave Cieck, the solid and mature instrumentation that makes the core of the band is a fully collaborative effort. Trading riffs and ideas is what they do, always striving for a new take on a genre that is nearly 45 years old. This, combined with the mind-crushing lyrics and vocal delivery of the bands’ frontman, Matthew Maggio, makes for an exciting and evolving sound.
Currently, the band is seeking to expand it’s reach in the United States, hoping to bring its music to a wider audience through touring and a vibrant social media presence. In the meantime, there is always work to be done. Along with reaching out for tours, they are writing a new EP, a full length, which they hope to release by years’ end 2017.
