KETAMINES

Ketamines grew out of the fertile Southern Alberta soil that produced a wide range of exciting garage-punk bands such as Myelin Sheaths (HoZac Records), Fist City (Black Tent Press) and The Moby Dicks (Southpaw Records). After playing over 100 shows between January and July across North America, the band relocated to Toronto and put together a new lineup featuring ex-members of Dirty Beaches, You Say Party, We Say Die and Zebrassieres. 2012 saw the release of Ketamines debut 7″ on Chicago-based HoZac records, and their debut LP “Spaced Out” on Oakland, CA label Southpaw Records which spent 14 weeks in the top ten of the Canadian college radio charts, as well as debuting at number 12 on CMJ.
