l4lm presents: pink talking fish are dead - a grateful dead 'fare thee well' afterparty

The Grateful Dead “Fare Thee Well” reunion shows in Chicago are shaping up to be one of the biggest parties of the year, and L4LM is keeping the music going with a very special afterparty just down the street at Reggie’s, featuring the first ever ‘Pink Talking Fish Are Dead’ show.

Pink Talking Fish have been making waves recently, on the back of sold out shows and jam packed festival appearances. Formed by founding Particle bassist Eric Gould, PTF performs a fusion of Pink FloydThe Talking Heads, and Phish, creating completely unique set lists full of teases and seamless segues. In honor of the Grateful Dead’s 50th Anniversary, Pink Talking Fish will be incorporating some Grateful Dead favorites into the set list for the first and quite possibly only time.

Recent set lists have included crazy segments like “Tube>Life During Wartime>Tube,” “Mike’s Song>Great Gig In The Sky>Burning Down The House>Weekapaug Groove,” and a mash up of “Makisupa Policeman” and “Brain Damage.”  You never know exactly what’s coming next from this always evolving band, who all share a passion for all four of these acts. These dream set lists become reality when Pink Talking Fish hit the stage.

Reggies is located within walking distance of Soldier Field for those of you coming after the Grateful Dead show, and there will be shuttle buses running back and forth to pick people up. Doors will be open at 10PM, so feel free to drop by earlier if you aren’t going to Soldier Field!
