The Feral Ghosts formed in the winter of 2014, emerging from Chicago’s late night scene. Originally a five-piece band, the more recent trio consists of Alex on the guitar, Lucy Boots on drums and Annu on vocals and bass. The subtle influences of these bands span from Post Punk to Psychedelic, and everything dark in between. It inspires the sound that has become the unique characteristics of TFG. Blending heavy intense tracks with raw emotions.

[melter] comprises Robert Hyman and Jax Allos: a sonic disturbance made of flesh, blood, and machine.Their 2023 self-titled EP ranges from the jarring, distorted rhythms and menace of dark alternative rock and industrial noise, through to the brooding atmospheres of darkwave and grinding gloom. Onstage, Hyman’s propulsive battery of live drums drives the duo’s mix of electronics and heavy distorted bass; whilst Allos stalks the stage like some menacing hybrid of Peter Murphy’s more sinister sister, and an animatronic pterosaur that threatens to malfunction at any moment.

Vanity Contest is a Chicago alternative rock project formed in the fall of 2018 by Brady Matteson (Left In The Rain, Grasshammer). Vanity Contest has released one album and one EP. The project is most notable for its intense, synthetic “garage” sound (frequently compared to Nine Inch Nails and New Order), as well as energetic live performances. Vanity Contest is Brady Matteson and Elijah Diaz.
