LEE CLEAVELAND & THE LEFTHAND BAND

Lee Cleaveland & The Lefthand Band is an upbeat, fun, and energetic indie rock band from Detroit, MI. Born missing his left hand below the elbow, Lee uses a small thumb at the end of his stump as a guitar pick. When he’s not playing guitar, this rock n roll cyborg wears a state of the art mind controlled bionic hand which the band flaunts in the comical music video for their blistering garage rock anthem “Cyborg Man”, off of their 2022 debut LP “Tech Support”. This 6 piece, high energy act wields guitars, keys, saxophone, bass and drums in their quest to blend garage rock, surf pop, alt-country, punk, and more into an eclectic yet cohesive signature sound.

Through sweat, blood, and tears, this retro-futurist outfit play every show like it’s their last, often demonstrated by the nub blood Lee wears as a trophy on his guitars and his willingness to sacrifice what part of a left arm he has left for the love of the game.
