KESHIA DIXON-NELSON
It is a great honor to speak of Keshia Dixon-Nelson. Born October twentieth, nineteen eighty-nine now age twenty-three, this hot young sweetheart delivers a new approach to the music industry. She carries on the legacy of her grandfather Willie Dixon. In R&B, Pop, and Blues she brings a sweet and soft, yet poppy and up beat feel. Keshia delivers a new sound to music that can mix with rock, R&B, and many genres of music.
Enhancing the music industry with songs like “Moneys Myth is Everything”, “Broken”, and “Blues Man” is something she aspires to share with the world one day. Shirli managed her, but the tragic passing of her mother in August 2003 left Keshia to developing the career for herself.
Continuing solo-singing and doing what she has been doing most of her life Keshia has sang at many different venues in Chicago such as Buddy Guy’s Legends, Harold Washington Library and Cultural Center, the Chicago Blues Festivals and Blues Heaven foundation. Keshia has even traveled to sing in the Mexico City Blues festivals in Mexico to reach people of foreign languages. Keshia idolizes her beloved mother Shirli Dixon-Nelson and her grandfather Wille Dixon and works to live the dream they strived for in the industry. Currently self managing she is looking for a manager but hasn’t been as lucky to find someone as good as her mom.
