Mateo Suarez & The Public Ear’s brand of jazz-rock fusion is a call back to the artists of the ’60s and ’70s. His backing band The Public Ear’s sound is a fresh take and mix of Bob Dylan, Frank Zappa, Kamasi Washington, and War, creating kaleidoscopes of sound for your ears to enjoy. The band hails from Columbia College Chicago out of the South Loop, and they offer some of the best music coming out of the Chicago area.
