“Trucker speed on the war-path baby” bellows Scattered Hamlet front man and founder, Adam Joad, as the four piece band of musical outlaws thunder through another ripping set of what they fondly describe as Rock and Roll, Metal, Southern-Mayhem. Conceived from the minds of Joad and Victory Records veteran, Ari M. (Destrophy/Otep), Scattered Hamlet was created to capture the essence of growing up in the country while giving a nod to the original classic rock and outlaw country pioneers. One part lynyrd Skynyrd and Molly Hatchet and capturing modern rock elements from Down to Buckcherry, Scattered Hamlet has been described as having a little something for all true hard rock fans. The band considers themselves nomads and has their humble origins in various small rural towns around the U.S. and Canada. They make no apologies for their equal love of Harley Davidsons, honky tonks, Les Pauls, Marshalls, shotguns and all three generations of Hank Williams. Featuring Adam Joad ‘The Appalachian Apostle’ (vocals/guitar/harmonica/banjo), Adam Newell ‘The Chicago Bootlegger’ (guitar/slide/vocals), Rich Erwin “The Kentucky Assassin” (Bass/vocals) and Jake Delling le Bas ‘The Irish Thunder’ (Drums), Scattered Hamlet has made two appearances on Van’s Warped Tour (2010/2011), Two appearances at Rocklahoma, played the A2 Festival (Michigan) done product demonstrations at NAMM 2012, completed a full national tour with Jason Charles Miller (Godhead), showcased at SXSW (2011), been support for Cold (eleven Seven Records), Texas Hippie Coalition (Carved Records), Alien Ant Farm, Jackyl, Supersuckers, Tracii Guns, Matt Toka (Warner Brothers), Alex Skolnik, Mushroomhead, Hed Pe, Taproot and Primer 55. SH continues to follow their blue collar approach to making music, touring and promotion, that allowed them to establish a loyal following through setting up Hell Rider (fan club) chapters around the United States and beyond.
