DNA STORY Play Reading

Did Watson and Crick steal Rosalind Franklin’s data? Who really discovered the structure of DNA, and how did they do it? Come hear Chicago actors under the direction of local director and professional casting agent Jane Brody in a reading of the science play DNA STORY. It has bizarre characters, it has X-ray beams, it has a scene from Waiting for Godot, it has exposed misogyny – what more could you ask for? It’s based closely on real events, interviews, and articles by and about the real scientists. It has been performed in New York and New Orleans and this is its debut in Chicago.   It’s FREE and in the Music Joint from 3:30-5:30 on Tuesday April 25th and the bar will be open.
