KING’S X
King’s X is an American hard rock band that combines progressive metal, funk and soul with vocal arrangements influenced by gospel, blues, and British Invasion rock groups. The band’s lyrics are largely based on the members’ struggles with religion and self-acceptance. King’s X was ranked #83 on VH1’s 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock.
Since being signed to Megaforce Records in 1987, King’s X has released twelve studio albums, one official live album, and several independent releases. The band is currently recording for the InsideOut Music label, and continues to tour with each new release. Early in their major label career, they had many opening slots on arena tours, but lately, the band for the most part headline their own shows playing mostly clubs and smaller venues. Each member of the group has recorded solo albums and has made numerous guest appearances on other artists’ albums and compilation projects. Doug Pinnick and Ty Tabor also have albums released with side bands that they participate in.

THE STEEPWATER BAND
You should already know these songs. If the old saying about talent equaling success were true, then The Steepwater Band would already be a household name, rubbing shoulders with Aerosmith, Bad Company and other like-minded travelers in our collective Rock ‘n Roll Fantasy. But that’s not how things always work, and this band knows it and still leans into it, smiling, with everything in them, not for brass rings and marquees, but because they must! For them, the music life is a calling and not some stupid costume one puts on to shake loose gold, fame, and groupies. In a land of caricatures, it’s striking to come face-to-face with the real thing.
Something primal lurks in their music, but always wrestling with emotions and stories that are everyday-ready ~ music at once strut-inducing sexy and brass knuckles honest, a sound evolved smartly & patiently through countless gigs, running the bulls whenever and wherever they’ve been welcomed since 1998. AC/DC once said, “If you got the dollar, we got the song / Just wanna boogie woogie all night long,” and The Steepwater Band surely embodies this lip-smacking urge to get some in this mean old world, befitting the group’s Chicago roots and their earthy understanding of crackling city blues.
The abiding, resounding passion inside this band is never in question. Dive into their seemingly endless catalog of songs just about anywhere, and the heart and muscle pumping away inside every track are palpable and present in a most pleasing way. Their sound is like a soundtrack for arm wrestling The Devil and then drinking shots with him ’til sunrise after you’ve pinned him down. Their songs bridge the miles between lovers, throw lines to brothers and sisters in need of some understanding and a spark that makes them shuffle, eyes closed, shaking off the day’s heavy load, ready for another round because the right song by the right band made them feel they had enough fight left in them. That’s the kind of band you’re dealing with here, and they’ll be doing this long after all the pretty boys, package acts, and pretenders have left the stage. – Dennis Cook

THUNDER DRIVER
Thunder Driver was formed in the fall of 2004 in the quiet northeast Chicago suburb of Zion IL. Raised on the influences of KISS, AC/DC, and Motorhead, this band is anything but quiet as their midwest roots would suggest. Their goal from the start was the to turn modern music on it’s ear and give the audience the band, songs, and performance they always deserve. Originally a power trio for the first five years, they decided another guitar was needed to push the band over the top. In 2011 a second guitar player named Danny Fitz was added to the fold to fill out the sound and give them the dominant sound they have today. Now with full speed ahead the band is a four piece rock n’ roll juggerrnaut that strives to capture the true essence of what music is all about. Being true to the music while putting on a great, high energy live show. Thunder Driver flaunts a twin guitar attack with blistering dual solos and a pounding backbeat that satisfies every rock fan from young to old.
For the past six years Thunder Driver has played with many great artists such as the Chicago doom metal pioneers Trouble, (Century Media Records) Rival, (Metal Blade Records) and The Last Vegas, (Eleven Seven Music) along with many popular venues including The Double Door, Durty Nellies, as well as many other locations across the country.
In the fall of 2010, Thunder Driver released their first full length album “Atomic Rock”. The album is comprised of 15 tracks that keep you hooked from the first guitar chord to the last symbol crash. In the spring of 2011 and on the heels of releasing their album, the band signed a distribution deal with Retrospect Records, out of Las Vegas, Nevada to help get their name and product out to a worldwide audience as well as releasing the album on ITunes, and Amazon.com with digital downloads newly available. They hope that all who hear it will join them in ushering in the new era of rock n’ roll, and keep the dream of true music alive for future generations.
This is Thunder Driver!
