Deceased is an American death/thrash/heavy metal metal band originally from Arlington,Virginia, formed in 1985. The band was the first to sign to Relapse Records in 1990 where theyrelease 6 albums, including “Fearless Undead Machines” and “Supernatural Addiction” – bothknown as classics in the underground metal scene. After parting ways with Relapse in 2002,Deceased continued regularly touring and releasing albums, eventually signing to HellsHeadbangers Records, who released 2018’s “Ghostly White,” as well as their most recent fulllength, August 2024’s “Children of the Morgue.” Deceased’s sound centers around themes ofhorror and death, with lyrics barked and sometimes narrated by vocalist and founder KingFowley. Musically, Deceased wears their influences on their sleeve, enveloping everything fromdeath metal to heavy metal to even hardcore & punk roots. In 2025, the band celebrated 40years together with several tours, festivals, and a commemorative 2-disc retrospective encompassing four decades of death metal from the grave!
