Off Broadway is an American rock band founded by Paul Darrow, Cliff Johnson, Paul McDermott, John Pazdan and Dan Santercola in 1977 in Oak Park, Illinois. After several line-up changes including the addition of songwriter/guitarist John Ivan and Robert Harding, the band’s debut album ON was released by Atlantic Records in 1979. The album reached No. 101 on the Billboard 200 and spawned the single “Stay in Time”, which reached No. 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 record charts. Off Broadway released a follow-up album, QUICK TURNS, on Atlantic Records in 1980 and continued touring for three years before breaking up in 1983. Along the way, they became colleagues with Cheap Trick.
Phil Angotti is a household name in the Chicago music community. He has performed and recorded music for over 30 years- solo and with several bands , most notably the Idea, Material Reissue and Great Moments in Vinyl.

Dead Freddie IS Chicago Garage Rock and Power Pop blended with UK Punk with a touch of Ska , originally emerging from Chicago’s South Side in 1979, reincarnating in 2013. The band has three releases on vinyl, most recently in 2023 with a fourth album in the works. They are known for their high-energy live shows, with the accordion adding something unexpected to the mix. “This Chicago pop punk band is rooted in that town’s original late-’70s punk scene, even before Strike Under, Effigies, Naked Raygun…Their sound is full of the Windy City’s over-the-top-hard-punk-with- melodic-undertow tradition” (Big Takeover, No. 87). Current members of the band are Gintas Buinevicius (drums & backing vocals), Gary Vacha (guitar), Karl Sperling (bass), and Donatas Ramanauskas (lead vocals and accordion).
